Just Mercy: A Story of Justice and Redemption

I was highly moved by Bryan Stevenson’s stories from his career in representing African Americans on death row because of the racism in our criminal justice system. He manages to take the reader into the darkest depths of our country’s sins while also providing a sense of hope that people and systems can change. I believe Stevenson is one of the most important voices of our time and give my high recommendation for his book. --Larry Bienz, Policy Team Intern
