More than 400 people from across Illinois went to Springfield for a Pretrial Fairness Act rally day. We made our voices heard, but our work is not yet done. Some legislators remain committed to undermining the Pretrial Fairness Act, so we're coming back to Springfield to let them know that our communities won't stand for it!

On Wednesday, November 30, 2022, the Illinois Network for Pretrial Justice will return to the capitol for the end of the Veto Session. We plan to meet with legislators and let them know that our community is committed to implementing a Pretrial Fairness Act that ends money bail and reduces pretrial jailing. Please make a plan to carpool as no bus transportation will be provided.
