A Prayer for Peace and Healing in Gaza

Divine Creator of All,

We come before you with heavy hearts for our siblings in Gaza -
Palestinians and Israelis, Muslims, Jews, and Christians,
mothers cradling children, fathers searching through rubble,
medical workers tending to the wounded, aid workers striving to reach those in need.

We pray for every family mourning loved ones.
We pray for every child who has lost their home.
We pray for every elder who remembers peace.
We pray for every community divided by walls but united in their longing for safety.

Grant comfort to those who grieve,
Shelter to those who are displaced,
Healing to those who are wounded in body and spirit,
Strength to those who work for peace amid destruction.

Move us, O God, from passive observation to active compassion.
Guide us from judgment to understanding.
Lead us from despair to hope.
Transform our prayers into pathways for peace.

May the holy ground of Gaza know healing.
May its children know safety.
May its communities know restoration.
May its people know justice.

In your infinite mercy,
Amen and Ashe’
