Chronicling & Making History: A Conversation With Prof. Leon Dash

Rev. Jason Carson Wilson, CRS’ inaugural Bayard Rustin Fellow, interviews University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) journalism professor and Pulitzer Prize-winning former Washington Post Reporter about spending time with Timuel Black during Mr. Black’s last days, as well as Dash’s storied career as a Black journalist.

Timuel Black was an educator, civil rights activist, historian and author. He marched with Dr. King, mentored Obama and inspired many generations on Chicago’s South Side. Read more about his life, work and legacy here.
